Los Angeles-based artist whose studio practice spans various media with painting at the forefront.
While attending the Minneapolis College of Art and Design he founded Molotov Skateboards, focusing on limited edition runs of unique shapes and graphics which led to the brand being sought-after by collectors.
Early in his career he was active in various collectives and artist-run spaces. Starting with SP2, a storefront project space located in Minneapolis, MN followed by the Rocket Transfer space in Des Moines, IA. In Chicago, IL he was a founding member of All Systems Gallery.
His art has appeared on music packaging for iconic labels such as Mo’ Wax and Thrill Jockey and been published in print and online with exhibitions in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, and London.
